Dori is currently the Head of Data at Recce, where she’s bringing software engineering principles to the modern analytics stack. She’s worked across teams at the SF Fed, Uber, CircleCI, and Mux analyzing experiments, building out product analytics functions, and untangling more than a few legacy DAGs.
Along the way, she co-founded a Y Combinator-backed startup, serving as CEO with a focus on product and go-to-market. She’s hands-on with dbt, SQL, python, and modern data warehouses, and has led internal standards on modeling layers, testing, and CI for analytics pipelines. That mix of early-stage execution and late-stage scale shaped her modeling philosophy: clarity over cleverness, contracts over convenience, and long-term maintainability over short-term speed.
